Just a note to thank you for your extra week at La Cordonnerie. It was perfect, the weather was wonderful and we had such a lazy and relaxing time.
We spent nearly every afternoon by the pool and loved watching all the insects; the lavender and  verbena were alive with them. I took these pictures, which I was pleased with and thought you might like them too.

NB they returned for 3 consecutive years to the gite.
We would just like to say how much we all enjoyed our holiday in Belaygue. The house was charming, full of character and everything was there that we needed to make our stay comfortable and trouble free. The children loved the garden and the swimming pool and they both learnt to dive with the aid of the spring board, so they were thrilled with their achievements.
We found Belaygue to be very relaxing, and tranquil just what we were looking for and we were blessed with glorious weather, which made the warm evenings playing Boule in the garden very enjoyable. Many thanks for the recommendations for the local restaurants, we visited quite a few and enjoyed all of them.

Once again we had a lovely holiday with glorious weather and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of Belaygue.
The new terrace you have built is a great improvement with the barbeque very well positioned and a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the long summer evenings.
The children loved the swimming pool again this year and some evenings during the really hot spell we were still swimming at 9 Pm.
